Our 30 Year Anniversary

Our 30 Year Anniversary

Nigel Parsons, the General Manager of Loucas, presenting our founder Tony Louca with a plaque to commemorate the firm's 30 year anniversary. The presentation was made on 14 December 2007 at the Hilton Hotel in Maidstone and it was a complete surprise to our founder.

Quotes from the speech by our founder Antony Louca and the response from Jan at the presentation to celebrate Jan's 20 years service, which took place at the Hilton Hotel, Maidstone on 14 December 2007

" I am delighted Jan, to present you with this gift as a small thank you and a momentum of your 20 years service to our firm."

" Your loyalty, your desire to do a good job for our clients, your attention to detail and your never ending ideas for improving our procedures, have helped me tremendously over the years and have served
this firm well. You are an example to us all"

"I did think about reminiscing and perhaps talking about some of the company’s history, but with so many new staff present, I thought they might prefer to know what keeps someone in a job for 20 years and more.

Well, there are two things: -

The first is Mr Louca, who from the day I started with the practice has encouraged me to learn and face every challenge our profession can offer.  He has rewarded me very well for this.  Why would I leave?

The second reason is on a more personal level, that the caring and sharing of our working lives, our aims, our targets, our goals and to an extent our lives, has created what I would describe as an extended family, and it is a pleasure to belong to it.   I won’t call you ‘Dad’ as that would be pushing it just a tad too far!!!!!  I do seem however to have collected an ‘office’ husband, little brother, and a variety of Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews.  You can decide among yourselves which is which."
